Greetings, my name is Jim Jolly and I hold a BA in History and an MA in Education from Rutgers University and an MA in History from American Military University. I was enrolled in a doctorate program at Middle Tennessee State University and taught there as an adjunct. I have worked at Stones River National Battlefield and Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park running the visitor center’s bookstores. I also appeared in War in Heaven, War on Earth (2013) a documentary about the creation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church during the years of the American Civil War. In addition, I was an adjunct instructor at Southern Adventist University and designed an on-line version of American History I for their Division of Online Learning. I have taught American History and Institutions I & II, History of the South, From Colony to Nation, and Age of Jackson. Currently, I am a Supervisor at Colonial Williamsburg.
My hobbies include: collecting LEGO, travel, working in the yard or on my Jeep Renegade, hiking, reading, watching House, and building an army of cats that will take over the world. We are up to four.
